Toyota FT-86 concept is to be sent into production and will probably see the day light as car series in 2012. Toyota wants to release it with a price under 25.000euros.

Toyota FT-86 concept will be revealed at the Geneva Auto Saloon.The engine of this car comes of a Subaru,2.0l boxer engine, but suffered some modifications. The car will have individual suspension on each wheel,will be rear wheel drive, be equipped with a limited slip differential and will have a 6 gear gearbox. Having around 1250kg it will probably be a great opponent to the real sports cars in its class like the Golf GTI

BMW X 1 by AC Schnitzer was revealed.AC Schnitzer is specialized modifying BMW models and this time they gave the X1 exterior,engine and suspension modifications. This improved version xDrive23d of the X1 developes 240Hp, and xDrive20d developes 210Hp.

The tuning house gave the BMW X1 a new suspension,a new front bumper,an extended rear bumper, an aileron, air gaps on the hood and a lot of chrome.
The interior got many carbon fiber elements and the gear lever was dressed in leather.
The new package will be revealed by AC Schnitzer in front of the media at the Geneva Auto Saloon.

Lotus Elise facelift prepares to come back to the top of the sports cars segment and will be revealed next month at the Geneva Auto Saloon. Elise has now a new “face”,the lines of which were introduced by Evora.
The front bumper was re-drawn and fitted with a wider air vent,the lights were restyled, as a premiere it got LED driving lights and the hood has now a new shape.Also the rear bumper was modified and the rear lights.

The entry level version, S, is equipped with a 1.6l 136 Hp engine.Lotus has prepared 2 more versions of the Elise, a 1.8l R version with 192Hp and the 1.8l SC version with 217Hp.

The engineers fitted new technologies on the car like Valvematic and Dual VVT-i,next to a 6gear gearbox.The options list will have a new set of allow wheels and also cruise control functions.

Carlsson decided to step out and release their first car.They will present it for the first time at the Geneva Auto Saloon.It is called Carlsson C25 and it is a concept with 753Hp and 1150Nm of torque.The car reaches 100km/h in only 3.7s and has a top speed of 352km/h thanks to the impressive 6l V12 Bi-Turbo engine.

The Carlsson cars will be sold by Mercedes-Benz dealers but we don`t think they`ll be having them for a long time because it is a limited edition of 25 cars.They will be seeing it during the periodic checks of the car,being based on Mercedes technology.

This impressive care received special Carlsson 20″ rims,high performance braking system and unique rear and front lights design.
The interior was specially designed so the driver would have best control over all commands and was dressed in leather and has real carbon insertions.

The Germans at Porsche revealed the first images of the 911 GT3 R Hybrid. Clearly the model is based on a 911 GT3 R and was specially created for competitions and will run for the first time in the 24h race at Nurburgring. A refined version will compete at Le Mans in 2012 after Porsche will get the permission to run with a hybrid in the prestigious race.According to Porsche this model offers no fuel economy, it only offers faster accelerations and extra power when outrunning opponents.
Porsche will present the new GT3 R Hybrid at the Geneva Auto Saloon.The model is equipped with a boxer 6cilynders 4l engine that offers 480Hp.The extra power offered by the electric engine is around 161Hp and is transmitted to the front wheels.

Nissan officially presented the compact crossover Juke, a model that was born out of the Qazana concept presented at the auto saloons last year. Nissan says the car is a combination between and SUV and a sports car.

Nissan Juke is a combination of cars,for example it borrowed the tail lights from the 370Z and the eccentric lines of the Qazana concept. With this combination of elements Nissan hopes to attract the Europeans that had enough of the traditional hatchbacks and want to evade to something totally different and especially attractive. Nissan Joke will be available in 9 colors, the clients being abl to chose the one they enjoy most.

The new Nissan Juke will be available on petrol and diesel.The petrol engine is a 1.6l 117Hp but you can chose the turbo version of this engine which has 190Hp and 240Nm of torque. The diesel engine is 1.5DCI common-rail with 110Hp and 240Nm of torque. Juke will be available with front wheel drive and all wheel drive.

The first time in front of the press, Juke will be at the Geneva Auto Saloon,on the 2nd of march, and will be available at your local dealers starting this spring.

Lumma Design rushed the reveal of the first performance kit for the BMW X6. The engineers managed to give birth to an impressive machine capable to compete with anyone and impress the public at the Geneva Auto Saloon.
Lumma called this version CLR X 650M and comes next to the older packages CLR X 650 and CLR X 650GT. The base model for this package was the M version of the X6 that has 555hp and a V8 4.4l overcharged engine.
After the engineers at Lumma finished working at the car, it had 650Hp and 830Nm of torque, 150Nm extra than the base M model. Even if the car weights 2200kg it reaches 100km/h in only 4.5s and has a top speed of 312km/h.

The Japanese at Subaru will present a crossover at the Geneva Auto Saloon called XV.The new crossover is based on an Impreza. This new car is the production model derived out of the concept presented last year at the Tokyo Auto Saloon,Subaru Hybrid Tourer Concept. This new model, Subaru XV, will be available in the second half of 2010 and will be a hybrid as the concept presented at Tokyo. It will have a 2.0l engine and two electric engines all connected to the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive traction control.

One year ofter launching the Lampo concept, the guys at Protoscar reveal at the Geneva Auto Saloon with a new improved vresion, Lampo2. The new electric roadster has a new exterior design and an improved interior.
Protoscar claims that the platform the model is build on, BRUSA, was improved in matters of weight and streamlines. As the old model, Lampo2 has two electric engines, one in the front and one in the back,with improved performances 268Hp and 440Nm of torque and 408Hp and 640Nm of torque.
The new concept reaches 100km/h in 5s, has a top speed of 200km/h and can run 200km between charges thanks to the improved Li-Ion batteries.
