Hybrid concept Kia Ray
Kia revealed the Ray concept at the Chicago Auto Saloon. Ray is a hybrid that can be recharged at normal power outlet and can run 1200km between charges.The model has a futuristic design and will be a little different when it will be available for the public. Being a full-hybrid, Kia Ray can run 80.5km only on electric energy and after that it will use the internal combustion engine.Kia Ray was developed on Forte platform and the design was done to obtain a very good aerodynamic coefficient,0.25.
Kia Ray has a 1.4l engine and 153Hp, assisted by a 105Hp electric engine.When needed Kia Ray can be all wheel drive,with the purpose to offer a low fuel consumption.
