The guys at Wimmer developed a new package for the Volkswagen Golf GTI.The TFSI 2.0l engine has now 386Hp and 455Nm of torque(the base model had 280Nm).Also the Golf GTI got a new suspension and a new set of Motec rims, available on 18″,19″ and 20″.
The egineers from Wimmer modified the Golf VI GTI`s turbine, replaced the standard catalyst with a sport unit and modified the admision system and the fuel pump. The ECU unit was reprogramed so it would work perfectly with the new parts.

Thanks to the modifications, Wimmer managed to get the Golf GTI to reach a top speed of 267km/h.Also the clutch was changed with a much more resistent one and the suspension was replaced with an adjustable one from HR. The manevrability and stabilty was improved with the help of those big rims “dressed” with high performance Dunlop tires.
