Two Russian tuning companies collaborated with the guys at Lumma to develop a tuning package for the new BMW 5 series.The exterior design was created by the guys at TopCar and Cardi, while the mechanical modifications were done by Lumma.The package wasn`t applied to a car yet but it was presented digitally.
The BMW 5 Series gets front bumper with big air gaps,a new front grill, new side skirts, a new rear bumper that now has a diffuser , a aileron and 4 evacuation pipes.
Also the package includes a new set of alloy wheels with a new design.The mechanical modifications were not presented yet but they will be presented in April 2010, when the 3 tuners will officially present the final version of the package for the BMW 5 Series F10

Ford Focus modified By Mcchip

Mcchip developed a tuning package for the Ford Focus RS,in 2 steps.The first step gives the RS 345Hp and 520Nm of torque,costs 799euro, and the second step gives it 401Hp and 612Nm of torque,costing 4499euro.

With the first step the ECU is re-programed,raising the power of the overcharged 2.5l up to 345Hp and 520Nm.With these modifications the Ford Focus RS has a top speed of 271km/h. The second step implies changing the intercooler, a new sport exahust and modifying the admission gallery.All these give the RS 401Hp and 612Nm of torque.Even though the second step costs 4499euro, it rises the top speed with only 7km/h after the first step, reaching 278km/h

Mercedes E-Klasse tuned by ATT

The German tuning house, ATT, launched a streamlined package for Mercedes E-Klasse.The engineers created it so the sedan would get any man interested in the Mercedes.The kit includes a new front grill, side skirts and front and rear bumpers.

Also, ATT changed the exhaust pipes.All these changes can be added on the E-Klasse for 6425Euro. To complete the tuning the Germans gave the car a new set of 20″ alloy rims and high performance tires, S1 EVO, made by Hankook.

Steinmetz modified Opel Insignia Sports Tourer OPC

Steinmetz Opel Insignia Sports Tourer OPC

Steinmetz and Klasen Motors developed the fastest production Opel in the world. Insignia Sports Tourer OPC was modified so it would deliver 400Hp at 5250rpm and it reached a top speed of 287.4km/h. The standard version of the Insignia Sports Tourer OPC delivered 325Hp and 435Nm of torque, having a 2.8l twin-turbo V6  engine.

The torque of this new enhanced engine is 550Nm.The extra power was obtained thanks to a modified intercooler, a bigger turbo with a greater evacuation system, a modified injection system and a re-programed ECU.The performance modifications are completed with a tuning kit composed out of Steinmetz ST7 20″ alloy wheels,lowered suspension, a new front grill, a new front bumper and a new aileron.

The record obtained by Steinmetz and Klasen Motors was obtained on the Nardo circuit in Italy.The tuning kit was created by Steinmetz while Klasen Motors took care of the performance.

Porsche Cayenne Turbo tuned by Techart

Techart obtaind a speed record for big SUV`s on the Italian circuit, Nardo.They reached 321.2km/h racing with a modified Porsche Cayenne Turbo. The Porsche was equipped with the TA 055/2.2 package that gave it 130 extra Hp taking the Cayenne to 680Hp.With the performance kit they installed the Aerodynamics Kit I package and the sport suspension module.

The Techart Formula 22″ rims of the Porsche Cayenne Turbo got Continental Cross Contact UHP tires for this special race.The pilot, Sandro Reuter, was pleased by the performances of the engine and tires and said that the SUV was ideally prepared for the event.

The 12.4km circuit at Nardo is the place where many car manufacturers test their new models, the circuit being considered the fastest in the world.Techarts record was registered during the High Speed Event, hosted by AutoBild and sponsored by Continental.
